Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Azim Premji Scholarship, the applicant must meet the following conditions:
- Must be a girl student.
- Should have passed Class 10 and Class 12 as a regular student from a government school or college.
- Must belong to one of the eligible States/UTs:
Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand. - Must have taken fresh admission in the first year (2025–26) of an undergraduate degree or diploma course of 2–5 years.
- The course must be from a government or credible private college/university in India.
- Admission must be in regular mode only (distance mode is not allowed).
- Should be pursuing first undergraduate degree/diploma.
- Students enrolled in Azim Premji University programs are not eligible.
- Students receiving Wipro scholarships (like Santoor Scholarship) are not eligible.
Financial Benefits
- ₹30,000 per year for the full duration of the course.
- The amount will be disbursed in two instalments of ₹15,000 each.
