About the MynVidya: Myntra Cares Scholarship Program  

The MynVidya: Myntra Cares Scholarship Program is an initiative by Myntra Cares, the  CSR and Sustainability arm of Myntra, designed to empower students from garment and artisanal families by providing financial support for their higher education. This scholarship also provides annual support for three consecutive years, covering all the educational expenses for students pursuing graduation courses at recognised State and Central universities. By removing the financial barriers, the program enables students to complete their higher education with confidence. The scholarship also extends upskilling programs certified by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and the Ministry of Skill  Development and Entrepreneurship under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, focusing specifically on upskilling artisans. Selected students will receive ₹ 20,000 for study. Application is open to applicants till 15 February 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

The Following criteria includes:

  • MynVidya: Myntra Cares Scholarship Program For Children of Garment Workers 
    • Applicants must have completed Class 12 (any stream) with a minimum of 60%  marks. 
    • Must be enrolled in any year of a full-time graduation course (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com.,  BBA, BCA, and any technical courses -Tech & Engineering, etc.) in a recognised  State/Central university. 
    • Annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 5,00,000. 
    • The applicant’s parent must be employed as a full-time garment worker.
  • MynVidya: Myntra Cares Scholarship Program For Children of Artisan Families
    • Students should have completed Class 12 (any stream) with at least 60% marks.
    • Applicants must be enrolled in any year of a full-time graduation course (B.A., B.Sc.,  B.Com., BBA, BCA, and any technical courses – Tech & Engineering, etc.) in a recognised State/Central university. 
    • Annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 5,00,000. 
    • Parents’ primary occupation must involve artisanal work (such as weaving, handloom,  crafts, embroidery, etc.) and be certified by the relevant authority. 
  • MynVidya: Myntra Cares Scholarship Program For Upskilling Program Students 
    • Eligible age group: 14 to 30 years. 
    • Must have completed their class 10 (no minimum percentage required).
    • Applicant must be currently enrolled in a recognised NSDC-certified training program, such as Handloom weaver, Hand Embroiderer, Engraving Artisan,  Handblock printer & Supervisor, Jewellery Making/Candle making, Blue Pottery  Sieving Artisan, etc., from an approved training institute.

Or

  • Must have enrolled under the National Handloom Development Program (NHDP),  SAMARTH (Scheme for Capacity Building in Textile Industry), IITHT, etc. 

Assessment Process

Assessment of applicants for the scholarship :  

  • Shortlisting: Candidates are first screened based on their academic merit and financial need/
  • Verification: A telephonic interview or document verification process may follow for shortlisted students.
  • Disbursement: Funds are typically transferred directly to the students bank account.

Financial Benefits

  • Selected candidates will receive a scholarship of INR 20,000 per year for 3 years.

Required Documents

Applicants must submit the following documents:

  • A recent passport-sized photograph of the applicant. 
  • College admission or continuing proof (Admission Letter/Institution ID Card, etc.)
  • Class 12th & 10th marksheet.
  • Address Proof (Driving License, Electricity bill, etc.).
  • Identity Proof (PAN Card, Driving License, etc.).
  • Family income proof (Form 16A, government-issued income certificate, salary slip,  etc.).
  • Applicant’s bank account details.
  • Occupational Proof of Parent (Indicating their current employment status).
  • Appointment Letter or Company ID card of the parent for Garment Workers, and a  Certificate issued by the relevant authority certifying them as traditional artisans for artisanal families. 
  • Caste certificate, where applicable.

  • Sustained Funding: Provides ₹20,000 annually for up to 3 consecutive years, ensuring financial stability throughout an entire undergraduate degree. 
  • Dual-Path Support: Covers both traditional degrees (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., etc.) and NSDC-certified vocational training (like PMKVY or SAMARTH) for skill development. 
  • Equity-based Priority  
  • Preference is given to students from SC/ST/OBC categories and children of single mothers working in the garment sector.
