The Sri Tulsi Tanti Scholarship Program 2025-26 also known as Suzlon scholarship program is a prestigious initiative by the Suzlon group launched in memory of its late founder Shri Tulsi Tanti ,who is known as the “wind man of India “, has always envisioned a future driven by innovation and equal opportunity. This program aims to empower students from economically weaker sections by providing financial assistance for continued education.
About Shri Tulsi Tanti Scholarship Program 2025-26
According to the Ministry of Education’s UDISE (2021-22) reports, the dropout rate among female students in class 9 is higher than that of male students . To address this issue, the Suzlon group has launched the Sri Tulsi Tanti program which focuses on reducing dropout rates among class 9 female students and supports technical education. It also aims to provide financial help to the students from poor economic backgrounds.
To bridge the educational gap and promote equal opportunities, Suzlon has introduced three scholarships:
- Shri Tulsi Tanti scholarship for class 9 girls .
- Shri Tulsi Tanti Uddan scholarship for Graduate students ( BE, B.Tech).
- Shri Tulsi Tanti Uddan scholarship for diploma students.
These scholarships are available to students from Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Daman & Puducherry, enabling them to pursue hassle-free education.
Objective of the Suzlon Scholarship Program 2025-26
- To give financial support to class 9 girls and encouraging them to complete their schooling.
- To assist aspiring engineers in graduate and Diploma programs who face financial barriers.
- To ensure that India’s talented youth from the bottom of the pyramid have a seat at the table in the technical field.

Suzlon Group has initiated three scholarship programs (2025)
1. Shri Tulsi Tanti scholarship for class 9 girls.
Eligibility
- Female student studying in class 9.
- Annual Family income must not exceed more than ₹ 6 lakh per annum.
- Applicants must be domiciled and should be studying in eligible states.
- Children of Buddy4employees are not eligible.
Benefits
- Fixed amount of ₹ 6,000 per year.
- Usable for tuition fees, stationery, books, travel laptops etc.
2. Shri Tulsi Tanti Uddan scholarship for Graduate students ( B.E , B.Tech)
Eligibility
- First-year B.Tech students.
- Minimum 50% marks in both class 10 & class 12.
- Annual Family income must not exceed more than ₹ 6 lakh per annum.
- Applicable only for eligible states.
- Children of Buddy4employees are not eligible.
Benefits
- ₹ 1,20,00 per year.
- Only for educational expenses.
3. Shri Tulsi Tanti Uddan scholarship for diploma students.
- Students enrolled in a Diploma in Engineering programme.
- Minimum 50% marks in both class 10 & class 12.
- Annual Family income must not exceed more than ₹ 6 lakh per annum.
- Applicable only for eligible states.
- Children of Buddy4employees are not eligible.
Benefits
- ₹ 60,000 per year.
- Only for academic needs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only students from eligible states may apply.
- Family income must not exceed more than ₹ 6 lakh.
- Scholarship funds are strictly for academic expenses.
- Only for students of the class 9 girls, first year Be/B. Tech and diploma courses.
